District Home Page
Welcome to the Tech Center
Times they are a changing and our school district is included in that old adage.
We have survived the audit and found out exactly what we already knew, we are just a school district with money problems like every other school district in the country. But that is changing too, we are no longer a district in distress and are well on our way to being a school district with as healthy a bottom line as you can have in this economy.
I am excited to announce we have signed a contract for a new CMS (content management service) to streamline and make our website look professional and all pages will be within the site instead of links to outside sites. Teachers and staff will be able to easily create and edit their own pages and upload content as easily as creating a word document or power point presentation.
I hope everyone in the district is finally starting to see the changes and upgrades being made to our technology. New computers have been put in the elementary lab and classrooms as well as in the classrooms at the middle school. And the improvements will continue until we have all equipment on a 3 year rotation for replacement.
I still have a lot to do and still struggle to find time to do it all. I appreciate everyone's patience as I try to get through all the work orders and keep evreyone and everything running smoothly.
Please feel free as always to email me or you can use the tech request link here on this site to submit requests and problems. I do ask that you include as specific information as you can that pertains to the problem, and if possible the IP address of the offending machine. The IP address of your machine can be found by clicking start > run, type CMD in the text box and hit enter. When the black DOS window opens type ipfconfig and hit enter - the first series of numbers is your IP address - it will be in the format 10.xx.xx.xx
This will help me to be able to troubleshoot your problem much more quickly from my office.
